Signature Software
 In 2003, Vital Software embarked on a joint venture with Signature Software, the developer of ICE, a business applications system designed specifically for the office equipment and mobile phone industry.
Signature Software is an Australian company with 14 years experience in providing software and support services to the Office Automation and Telco retail distribution channels. The business knowledge that has been acquired by Signature also provides a solid foundation to further consolidate Signature's core skills of data tracking and reconciliation between various databases such as corporate (e.g. Telstra), supply chain (e.g. Canon, Toshiba, and Fuji Xerox distributors) and retail (e.g. dealer stores) in these and other industries.
This joint venture gave Vital Software an opportunity to provide a tailored solution for the mobile & copier businesses by integrating with ICE, and opened up the SME market to them.
Initially available as a basic client-server package (involving one ContactTracker license and a 'core module' that allowed for the extraction of ICE data), as the technical boundaries of ContactTracker have expanded, so too has the relationship with Signature Software, so much so that at the beginning of March 2007, the joint venture was pleased to announce the launch of 'ICETracker Web Edition'.
Designed to expand the power of the ContactTracker ICE integration but greatly reduce the IT infrastructure required for roll-out, ICE Tracker is another step forward in the partnership between Vital Software and Signature Software.

ACT For Kids
Towards the end of 2005, Vital Software was developing a one-off web-based solution for the leading Queensland social services organisation, ACT For Kids (formerly Abused Child Trust). The idea was that in place of the usual Company/Contact focus of most ContactTracker implementations, the solution for ACT For Kids would be based around Children/Family in order to assist them identify at-risk children and provide the best possible care.
Following the success of the initial project, it was determined that a unique opportunity existed for a specifically designed, web-based clinician's tool that would use existing clinical research with the power of reporting and statistical analysis behind it to help bring social services up to internationally recognised benchmarks so that the success of treatment could actually be measured.
The presentation of this opportunity gave rise to a joint venture between Vital Software and ACT For Kids, and ClientTracker was born. Both organisations are uniquely placed to provide each other with knowledge and expertise to allow health workers from any industry to easily provide the best possible care to their Clients. Based on 7 years of specialised research and 2 years of direct consultation and testing between the two organisations, ClientTracker now offers the most comprehensive and powerful clinician's toolkit ever made available to the social services sector.
